Please note review titles will be supplied by the author, publisher or publicist. I cannot guarantee I will review a submitted title. I will not post a review if it rates less than 2 stars. I give honest critiques but it is important to remember that, bottom line, reviews are opinions. I do not review middle grade, Christian, inspirational, or high fantasy.

  1. Hello, Diane. I am an indie author with a fair amount of titles out in E-book form, three in print, and more to come very soon. I would like to first request a review for AN ILL WIND BLOWS by Lori R. Lopez.

ILL WIND is a humorous horror-fantasy novel of approximately 57,000 words.

I could send you a Smashwords coupon for a free download in any digital format you prefer, or a P.D.F.

The unique adventure AN ILL WIND BLOWS depicts one night when an ordinary person lacking confidence must battle a wicked wind. The stakes are high as she, along with friends and foes, travels through a magical storm world that culminates in a ghost town populated by more than just spirits. This is a story that keeps delivering action and fun throughout. It is more than a single tale in a single genre.

From the time the characters are sucked into the storm, the reader is transported with them on a strange chaotic trek. Meezly finds herself tangled in a web of chills and intrigue as she attempts to search for a mysterious gem called The Cursed Eye, which her missing father entrusted her to safeguard. The stone was used by a Sumerian king to transform an evil jinn from a wind spirit to a vainglorious force. Facing fears and the power of friendship are important themes. Chapters alternate from First Person to multiple Third Person perspectives. The supporting characters, a mixed and quirky bunch of allies or villains, each have their own insightful stories.

My E-mail is Your reviews are impressive, and I would very much appreciate any you might care to do for my writing. Thank you!

  2. Good evening!

I read about your site in the new Erotica Writers and Readers Group on Facebook and was wondering if you were interested in adding yet another book to your steadily lengthening “to-review” list. It is my first novel – and the first novel in my Vampire’s series, the sequel to which is being written right now, titled Undisclosed Desire.

Undisclosed Desire was published by myself (under the pen name M. Peters) through Amazon’s KDP program in late June of this year and has already earned a solid four-star rating both here in the US and in the UK. Its genre lies somewhere in the murky world of homoerotic paranormal romance, and its word count is just shy of 162,000 words. It has been issued in print through Createspace (the link is here: but its main format is in eBook format through Kindle (US link: For your convenience, I can send you, from my email as I will list below, a PDF copy of the novel as soon as you wish one.

My blurb is fairly long, so without further ado, here you are:

Keith D’Ameron has wandered the world as a vampire for three hundred years, traveling through Europe and the East in search of something for which he has no name. Up until now, he has simply enjoyed what his world of the night can bring to him, but now he has come to Spain. Upon entering Seville, a heartbeat rises above the rest of the thrumming pulses occupying the busy city, and something in its
siren call urges Keith to investigate.

The owner of this heartbeat, the vampire finds, is a beautiful young man named Javier Estas, and upon first sight – whether it is only for a night or for something more – Keith knows he must make the young man his own.
Something in the scent of his blood, and the very thrum of the life in
Javier’s verdant gaze, has drawn Keith to this man, and he is determined to find out why.

Within the hour, Keith finds himself at sword-point in a tree-lined square, where he must make a decision between keeping his secrets intact or allowing himself to open up to another human being for the first time in three centuries. Something within Javier’s eyes calls to him as nothing else has ever done, and he finds he must pursue this new avenue which
has revealed itself to him in that dusty square where he faces Javier for the first time.

At first, Javier is hesitant, but Keith is not the only one lured on by something he cannot comprehend, and he finds himself captivated by the glimpses of Keith’s world he sees every time he falls into the vampire’s eyes. At last, he finds that he cannot continue to deny his undisclosed desire for Keith – and that he doesn’t want to keep trying.

Thank you very much for this opportunity, and please do not hesitate to contact me at with any questions you may have. I hope you enjoy the book as thoroughly as I enjoyed the experience of writing it!
